How James Brown influence Hip-Hop
On the long and winding road of black America for civil rights and social equality, hip-hop has been an ardent defender. Echoing the despair of African-Americans in urban culture movement in the United States in the early '70s, hip-hop protested fervently for the Association of Black civil rights to crime, poverty, unemployment, sexism, drugs and street violence. Through the expression of passionate political speech, the opposition and controversy, hip-hop became a mass culture that has engulfed the company U.S..
But it was so much more than that. Hip-hop is a process, a continuous process that began well before even permeated the culture U.S.. And a very important part of this process was James Brown.
 € ~ The Godfather of Soul € ™ influence hip-hop so ways. Emerging in the music industry in the mid-'50s, Brown has captivated the masses with his signature black press â € ~ Papa's Got A Brand New Baga € ™ and â € ~ I Got You (I Feel Good) â € ™, both published in 1965 and ranked Top 10 Pop and # 1 R & hits B. In 1968, Brown released â € ~ Say It Loud - I'm Black and I'm Proud ™ € which actually became an anthem in black and in 1970, € ~ Get Up (I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine € ™, which reached number 2 R & B hits.
Brown € ™ s new rhythmic greatly influenced many styles of popular music such as funk, R & B, disco, rock & roll and rap, making him the artist as sampled in the history of hip-hop. â € ~ The Payback € ™, released in 1974 was used by the silk â € ~ Happy Days € ™, by En Vogue Hold â € ~ Ona € ™ and â € ~ My Lovin '(Never Gonna Get It) â € ™, by Total € ™ s â € ~ to Qana € ™ t You SCEE € ™ and LL Cool J in â € ~ Jack the Ripper € ™; â € ~ Pass the Peas € ™ Released in 1974, has been used by Heavy D and the Boyz € ™ s in â € ~ Overweight Lovera € ™, by De La Soul in â € ~ Pass the Plugsâ € ™ and Eric B and Rakim in â € ~ Aina I ™ € ™ € t No Jokeâ. Public Enemy, Puff Duddy, Kool Moe Dee, Ice T, Big Daddy Kane, Run DMC and many other multi-million rappers have used Brown € ™ s Smash Hits such as their background music, while its dynamic rhythms inspired break beats and funk drumming. Brown € ™ s legacy is immense in this for emceeing because its unique call and response style with her unique voice has inspired and educated many talented MCs in the following years.
However, more than its full release, Brown entered the atmosphere of black America's live performances. Dancing vigorously under the white glare of lights together, dressed in her silk dress, and looking in his glorious elaborate coiffure, Brown € ™ s concert have been a fascinating experience. Be the first to introduce the dance style mashed potatoes in the funk music, Brown's not enriched with jumps, splits and slides, adding back-vocal singers to perform the dance grounds. The visual excellence has been complemented by smoking for all male dancers.
For many contemporary rappers, there are no words to describe the enormous influence of James Brown on their Art. If it wasnâ ™ € t for him, for his unsurpassed passion on stage, his incomparable voice, his social activity, its constant influence on Black people through the radio at times when blacks were considered second class citizens, hip-hop Wouldn € ™ t stand where it is today. It would have the skills, culture and philosophy of progress, but the soul was inspired by â € ~ Godfather of Soul € ™, James Joseph Brown, no doubt.

All the Peanuts characters set their hopes on delivering or receiving special valentines, and most are disappointed when the day finally arrives. "Peanuts" creator Charles Schulz retired from the cartoonist's life early in 2000, and indeed left a few loose strings hanging among his chronically dissatisfied characters. He never did, for instance, cut Charlie Brown much slack in the romance department (or let him kick Lucy's football, for that matter). Sympathetic readers might have taken note of a story in the press just before Schulz said farewell, in which the inspiration for Charlie Brown's unrequited love interest--the never-seen, too-distant, "little red-haired girl"--was identified as a woman who turned down a marriage proposal from Schultz a half-century ago. That bit of biographical detail now adds poignancy to Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown, a 1975 television special built upon years of Valentine's Day "Peanuts" strips. This half-hour show finds Charlie Brown suffering, typically, the ignominy of receiving no hearts-and-flowers greetings while the rest of the gang, including Snoopy, spend their day sorting through piles of love notes. Worse, Schulz's famous sad sack can't get up the nerve to approach his unapproachable angel, though there may be--just may be--a glimmer of hope this time around. It may be Valentine's Day, but not much else is different in the "Peanuts" neighborhood. --Tom Keogh On the DVD The 2008 remastered DVD has the two additional specials that were on the previous DVD, You're in Love, Charlie Brown (1967), in which our hero tries to meet the little red-haired girl, and It's Your First Kiss, Charlie Brown (1977), a vastly more complex production that has two focuses for CB: win the big football even though Lucy keeps pulling the ball away, and escort--and kiss--the little red-haired girl to the homecoming ball.
