Revenues for the old nut breads: Bread Date Nut Bread with Walnuts and Orange
Walking into the house with the smell of fresh bread makes always remember the memories of the grandmother home or go home hungry after school and my mother had been knowing spend time in the kitchen. Here are a couple of old recipes taken from my mother's old tin recipe box that I got when she died. date and walnut loaf orange nut bread can both be made with pecans, if you do not like nuts. However, nuts have known health benefits and we all have to eat more of them. Bread Walnut-ORANGE
3 cups all purpose flour
1 1 / 2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts
1 1 / 4 cups sugar
1 1 / 2 tsp to teaspoon salt
shredded peel of 1 orange
5 c. teaspoon baking powder double action
3 eggs
1 1 / 2 cups milk
1 / 3 cup salad oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix the flour with a fork, and nuts, sugar, salt, orange zest, and yeast. In a small bowl, with fork, beat eggs slightly and add the milk and oil salad. Stir in flour mixture until flour is moistened. Pour batter into an 9x5 "loaf pan. Bake one hour and twenty minutes or until the bread pulls away from sides of pan. Cool in pan on a rack for ten minutes, unmold and cool completely on grid. Give a loaf of bread. NOTE: Diabetics can enjoy this bread by replacing 1 cup granulated sugar Splenda.
WALNUT-DATE Loaf
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup boiling water
On 1 tablespoon vegetable oil soup
1 cup brown sugar packed
1 egg
v. vanilla extract 1 tsp
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp teaspoon baking soda
1 / 4 c. salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
In a bowl, combine dates, water and oil. Let stand for 10 minutes, do not drain. Add brown sugar, eggs and vanilla and mix well. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in flour mixture until date smooth. Do not beat. Stir in walnuts. Place in a greased bread dough 8 inches. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool ten minutes before turning out. Finish cooling on rack.

Stanley Kubrick's demanding perfectionism in all aspects of the filmmaking process has led to some of the most memorable soundtracks of the modern era.
